HOME MADE FRUIT CHAT
Ingredients:
- 2 cups mixed fruits (e.g., apple, banana, orange, pomegranate, kiwi, grapes, etc.), chopped
- 1 cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 1 small pineapple, diced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional, for some heat)
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon black salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
- Juice of 1-2 lemons
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional, depending on your taste)
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Wash and chop all the fruits into bite-sized pieces. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Add chopped cucumber, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and green chili to the bowl.
- Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt, and black pepper powder over the fruits.
- Squeeze the juice of lemons over the fruits. Adjust the quantity based on your taste preference.
- If you prefer a slightly sweet taste, you can add honey or sugar. Mix everything well to coat the fruits evenly with the spices and lemon juice.
- Garnish the fruit chaat with fresh coriander leaves and mint leaves.
- Let the fruit chaat sit for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the homemade fruit chaat in bowls or as a colorful and vibrant salad.
