Ingredients

  • 5 slices bacon
  • ½ cup yellow onions
  • 3 cups chopped cabbage
  • 10-12 shrimp
  • 1 link kielbasa or smoked sausage
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp seafood seasoning
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Coat shrimp with olive oil and seafood seasoning. Set aside.
  • Cook chopped bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove bacon, leaving the grease.
  • Add sausage slices to the skillet, brown on both sides, then remove.
  • Cook shrimp for 3 minutes per side until pink and curled, then set aside.
  • Melt 1 tablespoon butter in the skillet. Add onions, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add the second tablespoon of butter and apple cider vinegar. Stir in cabbage and cook for 12 minutes until tender.
  • Stir in bacon, shrimp, and sausage. Cook for 2-3 minutes to combine. Serve hot.
