Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 can (15 oz) baked beans (look for low-sugar or no-sugar-added if you’re watching carbs)

  • 1/2 onion, finely diced (optional)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but delicious)

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional, adds depth)

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook the Beef:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef.

    • Add onion if using, cook until softened.

    • Drain excess grease if needed.

  3. Mix It Up:

    • Add baked beans to the skillet with the beef.

    • Stir in Worcestershire, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt & pepper.

  4. Bake:

    • Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 casserole dish.

    • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

    • Bake for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

  5. Let it Rest:

    • Cool for 5 minutes before serving. Dig in!
