🍫🥜 Reese’s Poke Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as called for on the box)

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip)

  • 1 cup chocolate frosting (or hot fudge sauce, warmed slightly)

  • 1/2 cup Reese’s Pieces or chopped Mini Reese’s Cups

  • Optional: chocolate syrup for drizzle

Instructions:

  1. Bake the Cake:

    • Prepare and bake the chocolate cake according to package directions in a 9×13” pan.

    • Let it cool for about 10 minutes.

  2. Poke the Holes:

    • Use the handle of a wooden spoon or a straw to poke holes all over the cake.

  3. Fill with Peanut Butter Goodness:

    • In a bowl, mix the peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.

    • Pour the mixture over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.

  4. Cool Completely:

    • Let the cake cool fully, then spread the whipped topping evenly on top.

  5. Frost & Load It Up:

    • Drizzle with chocolate frosting or hot fudge.

    • Sprinkle chopped Reese’s and Reese’s Pieces over the top.

  6. Chill:

    • Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours (overnight is even better!).

  7. Serve:

    • Slice, drizzle with chocolate syrup if you’re feeling wild, and devour.

🔥 Optional Twist:

Use peanut butter frosting instead of Cool Whip if you want max richness.
