Ingredients:
-
1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak (or deli-sliced roast beef)
-
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional for less strict)
-
1/2 onion, thinly sliced (optional)
-
6–8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
-
1 tbsp butter or tallow
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Garlic powder (optional)
Instructions:
-
Prep the Filling:
-
In a skillet, melt butter/tallow over medium heat.
-
Add peppers and onions if using. Cook until softened (about 5–6 mins). Remove from skillet and set aside.
-
-
Sear the Meat:
-
In the same skillet, quickly sear the sliced steak for 1–2 mins per side. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
-
-
Assemble the Roll Ups:
-
Lay out a slice of cheese.
-
Add a few strips of steak and sautéed veggies on top (if using).
-
Roll it up tightly.
-
-
Melt & Crisp:
-
Place roll ups back in the skillet seam-side down and cook for 1–2 mins until the cheese is melted and edges are golden.
-
-
Serve Hot!
-
Serve with a side of bone broth or dip in melted cheese for extra indulgence.
-
💡 Pro Tips:
-
Want it 100% carnivore? Skip the veggies and just do steak + cheese.
-
You can bake the roll ups at 375°F for 10–12 minutes if you prefer less skillet time.
