Khachapuri (Cheese-Filled Bread). A Georgian classic—crispy bread boat filled with gooey cheese and a golden yolk in the center!
Ingredients:
• 1 cup cheese (feta or mozzarella or mix)
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup warm water
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp yeast
• 1 tbsp oil
• Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Mix water, sugar, and yeast. Let it foam. Add flour, salt, oil. Knead into dough and let rise 1 hour.
Shape into boat, fill with cheese, and bake at 220°C for 12–15 mins.
Crack an egg in the center, return to oven 3–4 mins.
Serve hot and mix yolk into cheese!
