Homemade Crispy Bang Bang Salmon
Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and coated in the most delicious creamy, sweet-and-spicy Bang Bang sauce—this salmon is seriously hard to resist!
It’s one of those recipes that feels restaurant-worthy but is surprisingly easy to make at home. Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces, season and crisp them up, then toss everything with that irresistible sauce.
🛒 Ingredients
For the Salmon
- 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup cornstarch
For the Bang Bang Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon lime juice

- Season the salmon: Pat salmon pieces dry. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat: Add cornstarch and toss until each piece is lightly coated.
- Crisp: Cook in an air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and cooked through. You can also pan-fry or bake until crisp.
- Make the sauce: Whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
- Toss: Add the crispy salmon to a bowl and gently toss with the Bang Bang sauce.
- Serve: Finish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, or fresh lime if desired.
