Ingredients:
-
1 small loaf of crusty bread (like sourdough or French)
-
1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
-
1/4 cup canned diced green chiles (drained)
-
2 tbsp butter, melted
-
1–2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
-
Salt to taste
-
Foil (for wrapping)
Instructions:
-
Prep the Bread:
-
Slice the loaf in a criss-cross pattern — deep enough to stuff, but not all the way through the bottom. Think: checkerboard!
-
-
Make Garlic Butter:
-
Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
-
-
Stuff the Loaf:
-
Gently open the bread cracks and stuff shredded cheese and green chiles into the pockets.
-
Drizzle or brush the garlic butter all over the top and into the cracks.
-
-
Wrap & Air Fry:
-
Wrap the whole loaf in foil (leave the top slightly open if you want it extra crispy).
-
Place in air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, then unwrap the top and cook another 2–3 minutes to crisp up.
-
-
Serve Hot:
-
Let it cool slightly, then pull apart and enjoy the cheesy, spicy, buttery magic.
-
🔥 Tips:
-

-
Use pepper jack for more kick.

Perfect for dipping in ranch or salsa!
