  • 12 oz elbow macaroni or pasta of choice
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned, then remove and set aside.
  • Step 3: In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and milk. Bring to a simmer, then stir in cheddar and parmesan cheeses until smooth and melted.
  • Step 4: Return beef to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Top with crumbled bacon and stir gently.
  • Step 5: Sprinkle more cheese on top if desired. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
