Creamy Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine is a quick, flavor-packed pasta dinner made with tender chicken, rich sauce, and melty cheese.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook linguine according to package directions, then drain.
  • Season and sauté chicken in olive oil until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in cream, broth, and Parmesan to make sauce.
  • Add pasta and mozzarella to the skillet, toss to coat.
  • Stir in cooked chicken and heat through.
  • Garnish with parsley, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes. Serve warm.

Notes

For added heat, sprinkle extra red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce. Use chicken thighs for a juicier twist. To make it gluten-free, substitute the linguine with your favorite gluten-free pasta.
