Preheat oven to 350˚F. Place apples in pan and fill each empty core with a tablespoon of honey, drizzling some on the outside of the apple as well. Gently pour water into bottom of pan.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, adding more water if needed to prevent apples from scorching. If water cooks off before apples are tender add more water to the pan.
When ready to serve sprinkle with optional cinnamon and/or pecans. Can also be served with some whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
