🫐 Blueberry Chia Jam (Healthy, No Pectin)

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 2–3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook Blueberries:
Add blueberries to a saucepan over medium heat.
Cook for 5–7 minutes until they soften and start bursting. Mash lightly with a spoon.

  2. Sweeten & Flavor:
Add honey and lemon juice. Stir well and cook 1–2 more minutes.

  3. Add Chia Seeds:
Turn off heat. Stir in chia seeds and vanilla. Mix well.

  4. Thicken:
Let it sit for 10–15 minutes. It will naturally thicken as chia seeds absorb liquid.

  5. Store:
Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before using.
Keeps fresh in fridge for up to 1 week.
