🍪 Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies
Ingredients
-
1 cup (2 sticks / 226g) unsalted butter, softened
-
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
-
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
-
2¼ cups all-purpose flour
-
½ cup finely chopped nuts (optional — pecans, walnuts, or almonds work well)
-
¼ teaspoon salt
-
Powdered sugar, for rolling
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. -
Cream Butter and Milk
In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter until light and creamy.
Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and fluffy. -
Add Dry Ingredients
Gradually mix in the flour and salt until combined.
If using, fold in the chopped nuts. The dough will be soft but not sticky. -
Shape the Cookies
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball.
Place on the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart. -
Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the bottoms are just lightly golden (the tops should stay pale). -
Coat in Powdered Sugar
While still warm, roll the cookies gently in powdered sugar.
Let them cool completely, then roll again for a snowy, powdery finish.
