Spicy Honey-Garlic Shrimp & Broccoli Stir-Fry.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

For the Shrimp & Broccoli:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or sesame oil)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Honey-Garlic Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to spice level)

  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger (optional but recommended)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry for thickening)

  1. Prep the Sauce
    In a bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, sriracha, ginger, and lemon juice. Set aside.

  2. Cook the Broccoli
    Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
    Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Remove and set aside.

  3. Cook the Shrimp
    In the same pan, add shrimp, salt, and pepper.
    Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

  4. Combine & Sauce
    Return broccoli to the pan.
    Pour in the sauce and stir well.
    Add cornstarch slurry and cook for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything beautifully.

  5. Serve
    Serve hot over steamed rice, noodles, or quinoa. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
