Instructions

In a bowl mix warm milk, warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit 5–10 minutes until foamy. -
Mix the Dough
Add flour, salt, butter, and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms. -
Knead
Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. -
First Rise
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled. -
Shape the Bread
Punch down the dough and shape into a loaf. Place into a greased loaf pan. -
Second Rise
Cover and let it rise again for 30–40 minutes until it rises above the pan. -
Bake
