  • 2 tbsp tomato paste (or ΒΌ cup canned tomatoes)

  • Β½ cup grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or coriander (optional)

For the Pastry:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • Optional: sesame seeds or nigella seeds for topping

1. Prepare the Filling

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

2. Assemble the Pastries

  • Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square.
