Sausage Hashbrown Make Ahead Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen hash browns
- 2 pounds ground sausage, cooked thoroughly
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 2 cups of milk
- 9 large eggs, whisked
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 small can diced green chilis
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Preheat the oven to 350*
Cook the sausage until completely browned
SECOND STEP:
Remove the sausage from the pan
Add a couple drops of oil and place the hashbrowns in the same skillet to lightly brown
THIRD STEP:
Grease a 9×13 baking pan
Line the bottom with slightly cooked hash browns
Add sausage on to of the hash browns
FOURTH STEP:
Sprinkle the cheese on top of the meat
Sprinkle on the diced green chilis on top of the cheese
FIFTH STEP:
In a large bowl combine the eggs, garlic powder, onion powder and salt and pepper
Whisk to combine well
SIXTH STEP:
Pour this mixture over the top of the meat and hash browns
Bake uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes, until the eggs are completely set.
