Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll crescent dough onto greased baking sheet, sealing perforations.
  2. Brown sausage in skillet, breaking into crumbles.
  3. Sprinkle flour over sausage, stir 2 minutes until coated.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk until mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
