🧾 Ingredients:

3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour (or bread flour)

1½ tsp salt

½ tsp instant or active dry yeast

1½ cups (360ml) lukewarm water

1. Mix the Dough (Night Before)

In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt, and yeast.

Add the water and stir until a shaggy, sticky dough forms.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean towel and let it sit at room temperature for 12–18 hours. It will rise and bubble.
2. Shape the Dough

After the dough has risen, dust a clean surface with flour.

Gently scrape the dough out of the bowl. With floured hands, fold it over a few times into a round shape (no kneading!).

Let it rest on a floured surface or parchment paper for about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
3. Preheat Your Oven

Place a Dutch oven (or heavy pot with lid) in your oven and preheat to 450°F (230°C) for 30 minutes.
4. Bake the Bread

Carefully remove the hot pot from the oven. Place your dough (with parchment paper if used) into the pot.

Cover with the lid and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the lid and bake for another 10–15 minutes until golden and crusty.
5. Cool and Slice

Carefully remove the bread from the pot and place on a wire rack to cool for at least 20–30 minutes before slicing.
