2 Granny Smith apples
2 cans crescent rolls
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon, to sprinkle
1 can Mountain Dew
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly butter a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Peel and core the apples. Cut each apple into 8 slices.
Wrap each apple slice with a crescent roll and place in the prepared baking pan.
In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the sugar, and stir slightly. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour the butter and sugar mixture over the wrapped apples in the pan.
Carefully pour the Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan.
Sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and apples are tender.
