Lemon Cream Cheese Dump Cake with Blueberries 🍋🫐

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (for topping)

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

STEP 1: Prepare the Cake Mixture

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.

  3. Add in the sour cream and mix until well combined and fluffy.


STEP 2: Assemble the Cake

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

  2. Sprinkle the lemon cake mix evenly across the bottom of the dish — do not mix with any liquid.

  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mix. Gently spread it across the surface with a spatula to cover evenly.

  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the top. Try to distribute it evenly to ensure even baking.


STEP 3: Bake

  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.

  2. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.

  1. Let the cake cool slightly in the pan.
