🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 white fish fillets (tilapia, cod, haddock, or halibut – ~4–6 oz each)

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • Lemon slices (for garnish)


👩‍🍳 Instructions (Pan-Seared Method – 15 Minutes)

  1. Pat fish dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  2. Heat skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tbsp butter.

  3. Cook fish 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until flaky and opaque. Remove and set aside.

  4. Make sauce: In the same pan, reduce heat slightly. Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds.

  5. Stir in lemon juice and zest. Simmer 1–2 minutes.

  6. Return fish to pan and spoon sauce over fillets.

  7. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately.

  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C).

  • Place seasoned fish in a baking dish.

  • Melt butter with garlic and lemon juice; pour over fish.
