🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
For the Steak:

2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (1–1½ inches thick)

Salt & freshly ground black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, smashed
-
2 sprigs fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp butter
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
¼ cup beef broth
-
½ cup grated Parmesan
-
Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: pinch red pepper flakes
🔪 Instructions
1️⃣ Bring to Room Temp
Remove steak from fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Pat dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak
Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Add olive oil.
Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness).
Add butter, smashed garlic, and herbs. Tilt pan and spoon melted butter over steaks for 1 minute.
Remove steaks and let rest 5–10 minutes.
3️⃣ Make the Garlic Cream Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. In the same pan:

Add 1 tbsp butter

Add minced garlic; sauté 30 seconds (don’t brown)

Pour in beef broth; simmer 2 minutes

Add heavy cream; simmer until slightly thickened (3–5 minutes)
