Honey-Glazed Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

 Ingredients:

  • 1½ lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 4–6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 2–3 tbsp honey

  • Optional: 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar or Dijon mustard for extra depth

  • Optional garnish: red pepper flakes or chopped parsley

 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

2. Prep Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Spread them out cut-side down on the baking sheet.

  • Sprinkle chopped bacon evenly over the sprouts.

3. Roast:

  • Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until sprouts are golden and bacon is crispy.

4. Glaze with Honey:

  • Drizzle honey over the hot Brussels sprouts and bacon as soon as they come out of the oven.

  • Toss gently to coat. Add balsamic vinegar or mustard here if using.

5. Serve:

  • Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with red pepper flakes or parsley if desired.

 Tips:

  • For extra caramelization, broil for the last 2 minutes  but watch closely!

  • Want it vegetarian? Skip the bacon and use smoked paprika for flavor.
