Chicken:

Mushrooms:

8 oz mushrooms, sliced (cremini or white button)
Honey Garlic Sauce:

⅓ cup honey

¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry, optional for thicker sauce)

👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Season the Chicken
Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
2️⃣ Sear
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook Mushrooms
In the same pan, add mushrooms.
Cook 4–5 minutes until browned and tender.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce
In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic.
Pour into the pan with mushrooms. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
5️⃣ Thicken (Optional)
Stir in cornstarch slurry if you want a thicker glaze. Simmer 1–2 minutes.
6️⃣ Finish Cooking
Return chicken to skillet. Spoon sauce over it.
Cover and simmer 5–7 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
7️⃣ Garnish & Serve
Top with parsley, sesame seeds, or green onions.
