  • 1 lb lean ground turkey or lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (8 pieces) reduced-fat crescent roll dough


  1. Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll package instructions.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey or beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the diced pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the cheese is melted.
  5. Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  6. Spoon a portion of the meat mixture onto each crescent roll triangle.
  7. Roll up the crescent rolls, enclosing the meat mixture.
  8. Place the rolled-up bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake according to the crescent roll package instructions or until the bombs are golden brown.
  10. Allow the Cheeseburger Bombs to cool slightly before serving.
  11. Serve with additional pickles, mustard, or ketchup on the side if desired.
