🥘 Grilled Chicken with Dijon Cream Sauce, Rice & Green Beans

🍗 Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Dijon Cream Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

For the Sides:

  • 1 cup cooked rice

  • 1 cup steamed green beans


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken:
Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Grill or pan-sear over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and fully cooked.
Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice.

2️⃣ Make the Dijon Sauce:
In a pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Stir in chopped parsley.

3️⃣ Assemble the Plate:
Serve the sliced grilled chicken over steamed rice, drizzle with Dijon cream sauce, and add green beans on the side.
Garnish with extra parsley if desired. 🌿
