Greek Chicken Meatballs (Juicy & Flavorful)

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground chicken

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

  • 1 small onion, finely grated or minced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

2️⃣ Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, feta, herbs, lemon zest, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly.

3️⃣ Form Meatballs
Shape into 1½-inch meatballs and place on the prepared sheet.

4️⃣ Bake or Pan-Fry

  • Oven: Bake 18–22 minutes until cooked through and golden.

  • Stovetop: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, cook meatballs 8–10 minutes, turning to brown all sides and ensure cooked through.
