- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 package (20 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- 1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
- 2. Add olive oil and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- 3. Stir in minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
- 4. Add the refrigerated cheese tortellini and beef broth to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the tortellini is cooked through.
