French Onion Meatloaf With Melted Swiss Cheese
Ingredients :
2 pounds of ground beef
1 cup of bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/4 cup of milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 large onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons of butter.
1 cup of beef broth
8 slices of swiss cheese
Itineraries:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix until simply combined.
Put the bread mixture and place it in the frying pan.
Melt the butter over medium heat in a frying pan. Add the onions in thin slices and cook until caramelized,
Pour the caramelized onions and beef broth over the meatloaf in the slow cooker.
Cover and bake on low for 6-7 hours or until meatloaf is fully cooked and tender.
