⭐ FLUFFY CINNAMON ROLLS

With Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

For the Dough

  • ¾ cup warm milk

  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 large egg (room temp)

  • 1 egg yolk

  • ¼ cup melted butter

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp salt

For the Filling

  • ½ cup softened butter

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • (Optional) 1 tsp vanilla

  • (Optional) a pinch of nutmeg

For the Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)

  • ¼ cup butter (softened)

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1–2 tbsp milk (for smoothness)


Instructions

1. Make the Dough

  1. Mix warm milk + yeast + sugar. Let sit 5 minutes (foamy).

  2. Add egg, egg yolk, melted butter. Mix well.

  3. Add flour + salt. Knead 8 minutes until soft and slightly sticky.

  4. Cover and let rise 1 hour or until doubled.

2. Make the Filling

  • Mix soft butter + brown sugar + cinnamon into a paste.

3. Roll the Dough

  1. Roll dough into a rectangle ~14×9 inches.

  2. Spread filling evenly.

  3. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 9–12 rolls.

4. Second Rise

  • Place rolls in a greased baking dish.

  • Cover and let rise 30–40 mins (very fluffy).

5. Bake

  • Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden but not dry.


6. Make the Frosting

Whip cream cheese + butter until smooth.
Add powdered sugar + vanilla + milk until creamy.


7. Frost & Serve

Spread frosting over warm cinnamon rolls so it melts into the swirls.
Serve fluffy, gooey, and perfect! 😍
