🥒🍋 Cucumber Lemonade (Fresh & Homemade)
🌿 Light, crisp, and naturally cooling — this is lemonade with a spa-day twist!
📦 Ingredients (Serves 4):
-
1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped
-
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (from 3–4 lemons)
-
3–4 tablespoons sweetener
-
Options: honey, maple syrup, agave, or cane sugar
-
For sugar-free: use stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol
-
-
2 cups cold water
-
1 cup ice (plus more for serving)
-
Optional add-ins:
-
A handful of fresh mint leaves
-
Pinch of salt for an electrolyte boost
-
Extra lemon slices or cucumber rounds for garnish
-
🧃 Instructions:
1. Blend:
Add chopped cucumber, lemon juice, sweetener, and 1 cup of water to a high-speed blender. Blend on high until smooth and frothy.
2. Strain (Optional):
If you prefer a smooth lemonade, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher to remove pulp. If you enjoy pulp and texture, you can skip this step.
3. Add Remaining Water & Ice:
Stir in the remaining 1 cup of cold water and the ice. Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon juice as desired.
4. Serve:
Pour into glasses over ice. Garnish with lemon slices, cucumber rounds, or fresh mint. Serve chilled.
💡 Tips & Variations:

🌱 Make it Sparkling: Use soda water or club soda instead of still water for bubbles.
-
🍹 Adult Twist: Add a splash of vodka, gin, or tequila for a refreshing summer cocktail.
-
❄️ Frozen Version: Blend with extra ice to turn it into a cucumber lemonade slushie!
🧊 Storage:
-
Store in the fridge for up to 2–3 days in a sealed pitcher.
-
Shake or stir before serving — natural separation may occur.
