🍕 Crustless Pizza Bowl

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

Base

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 bell pepper, chopped

  • 150g mushrooms, sliced

Protein

  • 200g cooked sausage, pepperoni, chicken, or mince
    (or plant-based alternative)

Sauce

  • 200ml pizza or passata sauce

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Cheese

  • 200g grated mozzarella

  • Optional: cheddar or parmesan

Toppings (Optional)

  • Olives

  • Jalapeños

  • Fresh basil

  • Chilli flakes


👨‍🍳 Method

1️⃣ Cook the Base

  • Heat oil in a pan

  • Cook onion for 3–4 minutes until soft

  • Add peppers and mushrooms; cook until moisture evaporates


2️⃣ Add Protein

  • Stir in cooked protein

  • Cook 2–3 minutes until heated through


3️⃣ Sauce It

  • Add pizza sauce, seasoning, garlic powder

  • Simmer 5 minutes


4️⃣ Assemble

  • Spoon mixture into oven-safe bowls

  • Top generously with cheese and toppings


5️⃣ Bake

  • Bake at 200°C (180°C fan) for 12–15 minutes
    or until cheese is melted and bubbling

(Or grill for 5–7 minutes)
