These crispy, cheesy chips are a high-protein snack with a satisfying crunch. Made with cottage cheese, Parmesan, and flavorful seasonings, they’re a great alternative to traditional chips and perfect for dipping or enjoying on their own.
Ingredients
- – 1 cup cottage cheese preferably low-fat
- – ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- – ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- – ½ teaspoon onion powder
- – 1 teaspoon dried herbs such as oregano or Italian seasoning
- – Salt and pepper to taste
- – Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
-
In a medium bowl, mix the cottage cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
-
Scoop small mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each mound slightly with the back of a spoon.
-
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
-
Let the chips cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
-
Serve and enjoy.
Notes
– For extra crispiness, press out excess moisture from the cottage cheese before mixing. – Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. – Try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
