🍗 Creamy Herb Chicken with Garlic Butter Sauce

Served with Rice & Green Beans


Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs (boneless)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian herbs

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Garlic Butter Cream Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 4–5 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup cooking cream (or fresh cream)

  • ½ cup chicken broth (or water + stock cube)

  • ½ tsp dried thyme or oregano

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional but amazing)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or dried)

Sides

  • 1½ cups cooked white rice

  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed

  • 1 tbsp butter + pinch of salt (for beans)


Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Chicken

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, herbs & paprika.

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

  • Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

  • Remove and set aside.


2️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In the same pan, melt butter.

  • Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Pour in cream and chicken broth.

  • Add thyme, Parmesan (if using), salt & pepper.

  • Simmer 3–4 minutes until thick and silky.


3️⃣ Combine

  • Return chicken to the pan.

  • Spoon sauce over chicken and simmer 2–3 minutes.


4️⃣ Prepare Sides

  • Rice: Serve hot and fluffy.

  • Green Beans: Boil or steam 4–5 minutes, then toss with butter & salt.
