🦀🍤 Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon with Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

A rich and flavorful seafood dish perfect for impressing guests or treating yourself to an elevated dinner at home.


Ingredients:

For the Salmon & Stuffing:

  • 1 large salmon fillet, butterflied

  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, chopped

  • 1/2 lb lump crab meat

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Paprika, to taste

For the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Optional: fresh chopped parsley for garnish


🔪 Instructions:

STEP 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).


STEP 2: Prepare the Filling

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine:

    • Chopped shrimp

    • Lump crab meat

    • Softened cream cheese

    • Mayonnaise

    • Minced garlic

    • Lemon juice

    • Chopped parsley

    • Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste

  2. Mix thoroughly until creamy and well-blended.


STEP 3: Stuff the Salmon

  1. Place the butterflied salmon fillet on a lined baking sheet.

  2. Gently open it like a book and spread the seafood filling evenly inside.

  3. Fold the top half over the stuffing and lightly season the top with paprika, salt, and pepper if desired.


STEP 4: Bake

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18–22 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.


STEP 5: Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. While the salmon is baking, melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.


STEP 6: Serve

  • Remove salmon from the oven and rest for 5 minutes.

  • Drizzle with the lemon garlic butter sauce.

  • Garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
