This cinnamon roll hack uses heavy cream to make the buns light, fluffy and moist. They taste JUST like Cinnabon especially if you use Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Buns. Once you try this hack, you will never make them any other way ever again!

Ingredients

  • 2 tubes store bought cinnamon rolls (I recommend Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls With Cream Cheese Icing)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • baking spray

Optional Additions

  • ½ stick butter thinly sliced
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup homemade cream cheese icing

Instructions

  • Spray large baking dish with nonstick baking spray and place cinnamon rolls in.
  • Pour the heavy cream over the top of the cinnamon rolls.
  • If you’re adding in the additional ingredients (which I highly recommend!) then evenly distribute the brown sugar over the top of each bun, followed by the butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add icing (that it comes with or that you make by hand) on top.
  • Serve immediately.

 

Notes

If you’re using another brand, adjust time accordingly, If you’re only making one package of cinnamon rolls, use ½ cup heavy cream.
