🍫 Chocolate Caramel Pecan Bars 

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold & cubed

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Caramel Pecan Layer

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup honey OR maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tbsp butter


🥣 Instructions

1. Make the Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix flour + brown sugar.

  3. Add cold butter and crumble until sandy.

  4. Press into a baking pan (8×8).

  5. Bake 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.


2. Make Caramel Pecan Filling

  1. In a saucepan melt butter.

  2. Add brown sugar + honey + cream.

  3. Cook 2–3 minutes until bubbly.

  4. Stir in chopped pecans.

  5. Pour over baked crust.

Bake again for 15 minutes.


3. Add Chocolate Topping

  1. Melt chocolate chips with 1 tbsp butter.

  2. Pour over caramel pecan layer.

  3. Spread evenly.

  4. Chill for 1–2 hours.

  5. Slice into bars.
