Cheesy Garlic Herb Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ¾ cup warm milk

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 egg

For the Filling:

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella & cheddar mix

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

  • ½ cup sweet corn (optional, like in the image)

For Topping:

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

  • Extra herbs & cheese

Instructions

  1. Make the Dough

    • Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

    • Add warm milk, butter, and egg.

    • Knead until soft (8–10 minutes).

    • Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.

  2. Prepare Filling

    • Mix cheese, garlic, herbs, chili flakes, and corn.

  3. Shape

    • Roll dough into a rectangle.

    • Spread melted butter.

    • Sprinkle filling evenly.

    • Cut into strips, stack, and place in greased loaf pan.

  4. Second Rise

    • Cover and rest 20–25 minutes.

  5. Bake

    • Brush with butter.

    • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden.

  6. Finish

    • Brush with more butter.

    • Sprinkle herbs.

    • Serve warm 🤤
