🍕 Cheeseburger Pizza – Carnivore Style 🥩🧀
A meat lover’s dream: juicy ground beef “crust” topped with all the cheesy, meaty flavors of a classic cheeseburger—without the bun.
🥩 Ingredients:
For the Meat Crust:
-
1½ lbs (680g) ground beef (80/20 is best for flavor)
-
1 large egg
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
Optional: ½ cup shredded cheddar (to mix into the crust for extra richness)
For the Toppings:
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
½ cup mozzarella cheese
-
¼ cup sugar-free ketchup or low-carb tomato sauce (optional, depending on how strict your carnivore approach is)
-
¼ cup diced pickles (optional but gives a true cheeseburger vibe)
-
4 strips cooked bacon, chopped
-
Optional: Mustard drizzle, more pickles, or grilled onions if not strict carnivore
🔥 Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
-
Set oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
2. Make the Meat Crust:
-
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper (and optional cheese if using).
-
Press the mixture into a large, even circle or rectangle on the prepared pan—about ½ inch thick.
-
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and drain any grease.
3. Assemble the Pizza:
-
If using ketchup or tomato sauce, spread a thin layer over the meat base.
-
Top with shredded cheddar, mozzarella, bacon, and optional diced pickles.
4. Bake Again:
-
Return to oven and bake for 5–7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Garnish and Serve:
-
Add a mustard drizzle, extra pickles, or even cooked onions on top if desired.
-
Slice and serve hot!
⏱️ Time:
-
Prep: 10 minutes
-
Cook: 20–25 minutes
-
Total: 30–35 minutes
-
Servings: 4
🧠 Tips:
-
Use a wire rack on top of a baking sheet to help fat drain during cooking if preferred.
-
Strict carnivore? Skip the sauce and pickles, and stick to meat, cheese, and bacon.
-
Try it with ground pork, bison, or a blend for variety.
