🧂 Ingredients
For the “Noodle” Layers:
- 
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened 
- 
3 large eggs 
- 
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone 
- 
½ cup grated Parmesan 
- 
Pinch of salt 
For the Meat Sauce:
- 
1 ½ lb (680 g) ground beef (80/20 blend recommended) 
- 
½ lb (225 g) ground pork or Italian sausage (optional) 
- 
1 tsp salt (to taste) 
- 
1 tsp black pepper 
- 
1 tsp garlic powder (optional) 
- 
1 tsp onion powder (optional) 
- 
½ cup beef broth or bone broth 
- 
½ cup ricotta or extra cream cheese (for creaminess) 
- 
Optional: ½ tsp chili flakes for mild heat 
For the Cheese Layers:
- 
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella 
- 
½ cup grated Parmesan 
- 
½ cup ricotta or mascarpone 
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Make the “Noodle” Base
- 
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 
- 
In a bowl, whisk eggs and cream cheese until smooth. 
- 
Mix in mozzarella, Parmesan, and a pinch of salt. 
- 
Spread the mixture evenly onto a parchment-lined baking sheet (about 9×13 inch). 
- 
Bake for 15 minutes until firm and golden. 
- 
Let cool, then slice into lasagna-sized sheets. 
2. Prepare the Meat Sauce
- 
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the beef (and pork if using) until browned. 
- 
Drain extra grease if needed. 
- 
Add salt, pepper, and optional seasonings. 
- 
Stir in beef broth and simmer 5–10 minutes to reduce. 
- 
Add ricotta or cream cheese for thickness and richness. Mix well. 
3. Assemble the Lasagna
- 
Grease a baking dish (9×9 or similar). 
- 
Layer as follows: - 
A thin layer of meat sauce 
- 
A layer of “noodle” sheets 
- 
Spoonfuls of ricotta or mascarpone 
- 
Sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan 
- 
Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. 
- 
Finish with cheese on top. 
 
- 
4. Bake
Bake uncovered at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
5. Rest & Serve
Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing (this helps it set).
Serve hot, optionally topped with crispy bacon or extra Parmesan.
