🥩 Carnivore Chicken with Creamy Mustard Asiago Sauce

✅ Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic (optional for less strict carnivore)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (check label for no added sugars)

  • Salt & pepper (optional — skip pepper for strictest carnivore)

  • 1 tbsp beef tallow, butter, or ghee (instead of olive oil)

🔪 Instructions:

STEP 1: Cook the Chicken

  • Heat tallow or butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Season chicken with salt (and pepper if using).

  • Cook the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked (about 5–7 minutes).

  • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

STEP 2: Make the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat. Add a bit more tallow or butter if needed.

  • (Optional: Add minced garlic for flavor and sauté 1 minute.)

  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir.

  • Add Dijon mustard and grated Asiago cheese.

  • Simmer gently, stirring until cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

  • Season to taste.

STEP 3: Combine & Serve

  • Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce.

  • Heat through for 1–2 minutes.

  • Serve hot — no garnish needed on carnivore, but you can spoon extra sauce on top.

🕒 Time & Servings:

  • Prep Time: 5–10 minutes

  • Cook Time: 15 minutes

  • Total Time: 20–25 minutes

  • Servings: 2–3

💡 Carnivore Tips:

  • Use bone broth instead of cream for a dairy-free version.

  • Replace Dijon with egg yolk and melted butter for an even cleaner carnivore sauce.

  • Pairs well with a side of scrambled eggs or seared liver for nutrient boost.
