Q & A

Q: Why not stir the mushrooms right away?

A: Dry pan over medium heat for 3–4 minutes, stirring often.

Q: What if I don’t have hot honey?

A: Mix regular honey with a pinch of chili flakes or cayenne.

Q: Can I make this ahead?

A: Mushrooms can be cooked ahead, but add feta, walnuts, and honey just before serving.

Q: What does this pair well with?

A:

  • Grilled chicken or steak

  • Roasted vegetables

  • Toasted sourdough

  • As a warm salad topping

Q: Can I make it vegan?

A: Yes—use plant-based butter and vegan feta.
