Ingredients:
– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1 cup grits
– 4 cups water
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup shredded cheese
– 4 tbsp veg oil or butter
– 1/2 cup diced onion
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Chopped parsley for garnish

Directions:
– In a pot, bring water to a boil and add grits. Cook according to package instructions until creamy.
– Meanwhile, heat veg oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
– Stir in shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cooking until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
– Pour in heavy cream and add shredded cheese, stirring until melted and well combined.
– Season with salt and pepper. Serve the shrimp mixture over the grits and garnish with chopped parsley.
