Ingredients
- 1 lb Smoked Sausage (Cut into sliced)
- 1 tbsp. Bacon Grease
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 2 tsp. Garlic (Minced)
- 2 tbsp. Sugar
- ¼ cup Chicken Broth
- 3 tsp. Caraway Seeds
- ½ tsp. Seasoning Salt
- ½ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
- ½ cup Bacon (Crumbled)
- 1 Head of cabbage (Chopped)
Instructions
- Saute the sausage in a skillet until cooked through. Set aside.
- Add the onions and bacon grease to the skillet over medium heat, and saute until softened.
- Stir in the garlic and saute another 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth, sugar, caraway seeds, seasoning salt and red pepper flakes.
- Mix in the cabbage and cover the skillet. Saute until the cabbage is soft.
- Add the meat back to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Sprinkle with the bacon pieces and serve.
