½ tsp garlic powder

🔥 Instructions
1. Cook the Seasoned Rice

Rinse rice until water runs mostly clear.

In a pot, bring broth, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt to a boil.

Add rice, stir once, cover, and simmer on low for 15–18 minutes.

Remove from heat and let rest 5 minutes, then fluff.
2. Prepare the Fish

Pat fish dry with paper towels.

Brush both sides with oil or butter.

Coat generously with blackened seasoning.
3. Cook the Fish
Stovetop (best crust):

Heat a cast-iron or heavy skillet over medium-high until very hot.

Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping once.

In a pan, melt butter, add garlic, cook 30 seconds.

Plate rice first, add fish, and finish with broccoli.
