🥔 Baked Potatoes with Garlic & Butter

Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced (or grated)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2️⃣ Prep the Potatoes

  • Scrub potatoes clean and pat dry.

  • Pierce each potato 4–5 times with a fork.

  • Rub the skins with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

3️⃣ Bake

Place directly on oven rack or on a lined baking sheet.
Bake 45–60 minutes, depending on size, until fork-tender.

4️⃣ Make Garlic Butter

While potatoes bake:

  • Melt butter in a small pan over low heat.

  • Add minced garlic and cook gently for 1–2 minutes (do not brown).
