🛒 Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat)

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella

  • ¼ cup milk (optional, for extra fluffiness)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 2 tbsp chopped chives or green onions

  • Butter or cooking spray for greasing

Optional Add-ins:
Spinach, diced bell peppers, mushrooms, cooked bacon, or turkey sausage.


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease an 8×8 baking dish (or similar size).

2️⃣ Mix eggs
In a large bowl, whisk eggs, cottage cheese, milk (if using), salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

3️⃣ Add cheese & extras
Stir in shredded cheese and any add-ins.

4️⃣ Bake
Pour mixture into the baking dish.
Bake 25–30 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.

5️⃣ Rest & serve
Let cool 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
