Ingredients:
6 large dill pickles (spears or whole)
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup chopped jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp fresh dill (optional)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
1 egg (beaten)
Olive oil spray (for crisping)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
2. Slice the pickles into spears or cut them in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the centers to make room for the filling. (Use a spoon or melon baller.)
3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh dill (if using). Stir until smooth and creamy.
4. Stuff the hollowed-out pickles with the cream cheese mixture, packing it tightly.
5. Dip each stuffed pickle into the beaten egg, then coat it with breadcrumbs. Make sure they are evenly coated.
6. Lightly spray the pickles with olive oil for extra crispness.
7. Place the stuffed pickles in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Tips:
Spicy Twist: Add a bit of shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese into the cream cheese mixture for extra flavor!
Herb Variation: Try adding fresh parsley or cilantro for a different herbal vibe.
Dip it: Serve with ranch dressing, hot sauce, or a sweet chili dip for an extra flavor punch.
