🍤 Air Fryer Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.

  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.

  3. Place shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket — avoid overcrowding.

  4. Cook for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until shrimp are pink, opaque, and slightly crispy.

  5. Remove from air fryer, toss with lemon juice, and garnish with parsley or cilantro if desired.

  6. Serve immediately with dipping sauce or over rice/salad.


Tips & Variations

  • For a crispy coating, toss shrimp in a little panko before air frying.

  • Add a squeeze of fresh lime instead of lemon for a zesty twist.

  • Serve with garlic aioli, cocktail sauce, or spicy mayo.

  • Want it less spicy? Omit cayenne and increase garlic.
